Position Summary
The Supervisor of Distribution Center Operations directs workflow for warehouse employees and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets. This role manages day to day work operations and evaluates work performance. In addition, this role assists the manager in the total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement.
This is a 2nd shift role with a 10 hour average shift starting at 2PM M-F.
Primary Responsibilities
- Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
- Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.
- Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.
- Manages the operations in the distribution center to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.
- Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations.
- Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices.
- Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics.
- Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success.
- Manages performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a distribution center environment
- Warehouse Management Systems experience
- MS Office experience
- Available to work weekends

- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
- Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently
- Ability to complete assignments within established timelines
Education
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
