We’re hiring! ASCA is looking for a Membership Development Manager to help grow and engage our vibrant coaching community. If you’re detail-oriented, love working with data, experienced with AMS/CRM and passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences, we’d love to hear from you. This is a full-time remote position with a competitive salary, fully paid health insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan. Travel is required for staff meetings and events.
The Membership Development Manager plays a key role in managing ASCA’s membership systems, analyzing data to inform strategy, and creating initiatives that attract, retain, and engage members. This position combines strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a service-oriented mindset to support ASCA’s mission and goals.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full membership lifecycle, including registrations, renewals, data entry, and database accuracy in the AMS/CRM.
- Track, analyze, and report on membership metrics (growth, retention, engagement, demographics) and share insights with leadership.
- Identify data trends to inform acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies, and continuously improve membership processes.
- Deliver professional, timely, and personalized support to members through multiple channels.
- Run membership renewal campaigns and develop initiatives to increase recruitment and engagement, such as special promotions and the 100% ASCA Teams program.
- Manage and grow contact lists for coaches, teams, and partners, and encourage participation in ASCA’s online community.
- Oversee event registration processes—including the ASCA World Clinic—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a strong member experience.
- Provide support for various programs and initiatives that engage and recognize members.
- Collect and analyze member feedback to improve programs and events.
- Support finance and administrative tasks including invoicing, website updates, and managing staff Office 365 accounts.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to bring forward new ideas and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AMS or CRM platforms, including reporting and analytics.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Experience with membership marketing and renewal campaigns.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the sport of swimming is a plus.
